Dr Natasha Woods BSc DVM MSc CCAB MRCVS
RCVS Advanced Practioner in Companion Animal Behaviour
I have always had an interest in behaviour and psychology and love that veterinary behaviour allows me to bring these together.
As a young girl, I enjoyed watching the behaviour segment on Harry's Practice and the child sleep and psychology programmes on the ABC.
Then as a young adult I completed a Bachelor of Neuroscience at the University of Western Australia before my veterinary degree at the University of Melbourne.

While I worked as a general practice veterinarian I discovered that the cases I enjoyed helping the most, were those with behavioural problems. I also discovered that the availability of vets with further behaviour knowledge was significantly lacking - something I am passionate about changing.

To bring together my veterinary and behaviour knowledge, I completed a Masters in Clinical Animal Behaviour at the University of Lincoln, and have since become an Advanced Practitioner in Companion Animal Behaviour through the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB).

I have been running Woods Veterinary Behaviour in the UK, but have recently made the move back to my hometown, Perth, Australia.

I am excited to help cats and dogs in Perth reach their potential just as I did in the U.K. (along with a little extra beach time).
